You may have made the biggest mistake in the interview, you know?

cms

Interviews, I must know my friends have their own experience, even if there are not many interview opportunities, I will take a lot of good ideas from various interviews in the interview.

In fact, today's face-to-face, from interview dress, to how to get back to problems, to physical movements, how to get a good impression on HR questions, how to follow up after the interview... everything is available, as long as you can go online turn up.

This was a good thing, but now it has become a big problem. I have heard a lot of chicken soup and still don't know how to do an interview .

Not only that, but many job seekers, even interesting partners with distinct personalities, will be lost in the interview. They give up their ideas and personalities, and they follow the rules and expressions, because they think that the task in the interview is to " correctly answer " each question .

As everyone knows, many problems are not the correct answer. I have encountered a lot, and the problems brought by this are also very big:

1. Ask for question, but don't care about the answer

I met the children seriously and looked at me seriously. What are your expectations for this position? I will seriously tell my request in a past case, and then find that most of the children are actually polite and ask, and do not understand my intention. Maybe it was when I answered that he had already asked the next question in God to ask...

The reason why he asks this question is because the online face tells him to ask such a question, but after asking the question, the whole face is thinking about the next question, rather than listening to me with an interest.

Is the interviewer really stupid?

The reason why I don't say the request directly, but the case, is because I want you to summarize the case in a short language and find out my point. On the one hand, understand whether you are listening, on the other hand, observe the ability of the job seeker to summarize.

2. You find a face, others will. How do you stand out?

Some of the answers, I was very excited to hear me for the first time, but the number of times, my response is usually: the interview experience is estimated to be quite rich.

When I need an interview, try to control 1-2 interviews every day; beyond this frequency, there must be an interviewer who is forgotten by me: This is normal, I want to recruit nothing more than one or two of my most memorable job search. By. Other people I have a hard time remembering.

When I started to write a rejection letter after a week, I often tried to remember why I didn't want this job seeker. Sorry, recruitment is only 10% of my work, I really can't remember.

HR can face 8 times a day - how do you impress HR with the same face and face, and impress HR? (Of course, if you kill the Earth people, you will devote your HR to the CEO, when I didn't say it).

3. Looking for a job is a two-way choice, you are also picking the company

I have asked a lot of young friends around me. What is the definition of how to successfully interview? More than 90% of the small partners responded: get the offer , including some very good HR and headhunters around me.

I do not agree with this view.

You are sitting opposite the interviewer, you can't plug your mouth in the whole process, listening to the interviewer arrogantly talking about your high-quality resume, so it's easy for the interviewer to stop and drink, and the problem that is thrown to you is:

  • Can you accept 996 overtime? Can you accept the overtime pay?
  • Can you withstand high pressure? I have to accompany the boss to get off work after work?
  • Can you dedicate yourself? Want to get a high salary can you let it go?
  • Can you promise not to have children for 5 years? I care if you are a senior mother?

In this case, you should be rolling out of their company without stopping.

Even if we get the offer, why do we say this is a successful interview? You bite your teeth, tears, agree with the offer that you are unreasonably demanding. Do you really want to accept it? The interview is not only the stepping stone for us to get the offer, but also the best way for us to examine the future employers.

Another example: how to answer the interviewer's question: Why choose you instead of others.

A friend answered:

Third-rate answer: I am better than other competitors.
Showcasing your self-confidence, suggesting that the company is a merit-based admission.
Second-rate answer: I am the best candidate to match this position.
It reflects the ability to judge the matching of people and posts, suggesting that the company is the most suitable candidate to accept.
First-class answer: I can create the greatest value in this position.
It reflects the concept of value matching, suggesting that HR's recruitment work is creating wealth for the company.

This is the typical genre of the face , which sounds like the sky... It is not reliable.

How do you know that you can create the most value, how to create the greatest value in this position, you have not been on the job, why do you know that you know the needs of this position? If this is a sales post, it will be considered, and you need to be able to say the sales; if you are recruiting a financial position, you will be dissed by the interviewer.

Written at the end:

It is helpful to face this thing, let you know the minimum mode of communication in the workplace, but it is estimated that it will suffer if you go to the interview with the same face. This is what Jin Yong’s predecessors taught us for a long time: The reason why Ling Huchong can quickly become a martial artist’s disciple in a short period of time is to become a martial arts master, not because of the strict guidance of Yue Buqun:

Yue Buqun's classmates are extremely strict. The disciples practice the boxing and make the sword. As long as they are slightly separated from the size of the portable foot, he will correct it. Every move must be perfected and not wrong.

It’s because the Qing Qing’s predecessors taught the fox to rush a “live” word:

The swordsmanship is alive, and it must be alive and alive; people are alive and cannot be restrained by the moves. The face is also to be learned, because most of the time the interviewer asks the question is that there is no standard answer.

Sean's advice is:

While mastering the basic workplace communication etiquette, show the true self to the interviewer.

Bring your true self to the interview, show your rich expressions, show your personality and humor, and show your unique perspectives and insights. Today's interviews are equal, and they are no longer the pick-up of the company's condescending, but the balance between the two sides.

  • If you have doubts about your work, you should be brave enough to point it out;
  • If the views on market development are inconsistent, you should put forward your own ideas;
  • If you have children at home, you should show your desire to take into account the balance of work and life;
  • If you want to clarify the path of career development, you should ask about the future development of the interview position;
  • If you want to continue your studies, you should ask if the company has a project to study tuition subsidies.
  • If the company is too remote, you should ask if the company has a shuttle arrangement.

If you don't dare to interview, then you have no courage to question the content of the work, make different ideas, complain that you can't balance your work life, and have no chance to change your job.

Indeed, it’s not that everyone likes the self that you show, so what? You shouldn’t work for your boss.

In fact, when we recruit people, we also hope to bring some new ideas and ideas to impact our existing methods of operation to bring about change and innovation. If you can't bring your own new ideas and opinions, even if you perform well in the interview, the result is likely to be forgotten.

Every time I interview, I ask: "What do you think about the future trend of B2B corporate marketing?" When I asked this question, I didn't have an answer. I want to hear the interviewer tell me something new, something I don't know.

Therefore, if the job-seeking partner is completely in my expectation, my impression is not profound. But if I tell the knowledge and phenomena that I don't know, I will always be particularly impressed. TA is not necessarily right, but it is the result of independent thinking. This spirit is what every company needs.

I have seen a lot of small partners who have real talents, are smart, diligent and cute, and missed a good job because they can't show their true self in the interview. I have seen many small partners because of the interview and the work afterwards. Excessively suppressing my own thoughts and demands, so the work is not comfortable.

The job is not just just a job, we have at least 8-10 hours a day, not on the way to work, and on the way to work (not overtime). Finding a job that suits your personality is far better than a job that is highly paid but depressing personality. The interview is the most intuitive way for us to understand the right company.

I wish you all a successful interview and find a good job.

Thanks for the invitation, at 8pm on November 29th, I will do a share of the interview skills, welcome to listen:

Master these ten strokes of interview skills to become interviewers

Before signing up, I suggest that you first share your interviews. If you read them carefully and recognize my point of view, you will not be able to register again (in fact, they are all read and not used):

What preparations do you need to do before the interview?

If you change jobs so frequently, can you tell me why?

What is the shortcoming of the interviewer and what should I answer?

Should I clarify the reason for the departure of the previous family when interviewing?

How does the interviewer respond to the interviewer's question, "What do you want to ask me?"

HR's inner OS for job seekers to introduce themselves in one sentence, why choose you instead of others?

How to evaluate the phrase "Although I have no experience, but I am very willing to learn" in the interview?
